The RAV4 offers a 2.5-liter hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain. The Outback offers more torque than the RAV4, giving you the turning power to be the first off the starting line. Additionally, the Outback's standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive gives you greater confidence on the road, regardless of the weather or road conditions.
The new Outback offers greater passenger volume than the RAV4, allowing your guests to enjoy greater comfort. Additionally, the Outback offers more front-seat and rear-seat headroom than the RAV4, letting you and your passengers sit taller.
Subaru Outback vs. Honda CR-V
The new Outback comes out of the gate swinging. Its available with 2.5-liter and 2.4-liter turbocharged engines are the stars of the show. The Outback offers more maximum horsepower (260 horsepower) than the Honda CR-V. It also offers more torque than the CR-V, making it an all-around powerhouse you can depend on. Both models offer all-wheel drive performance, but only the Outback offers it standard. You'll have to pay extra to equip it on the CR-V.
The new Outback offers a larger infotainment touchscreen and instrument cluster than the Honda CR-V. Both vehicles offer wireless smartphone connectivity and have their own versions of safety and driver assistance technologies.
